Questions
Should I charge a deposit?
It is common to ask for 30–50% upfront before work starts. You can switch the deposit clause on or off.
When does the client own the work?
Under this agreement, ownership passes to the client only once the full fee is paid. That protects you if the client does not pay.
What if the client keeps asking for changes?
You set the number of revision rounds included. Extra revisions or new work are charged separately at a rate you choose.
Who pays tax?
The freelancer is responsible for their own income tax. Where the client is required to withhold tax, an optional clause covers this.
